Episode Episode 4: Hope After Project in New York City, NY
On October 11th we gathered to remember Jackie Stolte at Concrete Safaris' educational community garden in East Harlem. We spent the day harvesting crops, planting new seeds and cleaning up the area. The garden will be used to educate local kids about the importance of locally grown, healthy food.Jackie's passion for organic eating and her belief that healthy food should be accessible for all people inspired this memorable day.
Episode 3: Hope After Project in Kansas City, MO
This Hope After Project was built in memory of Carla Dozier. The project recipients were Carla's children, Robyn and Brooks. To honor Carla's generous and compassionate spirit, as well as her battle with colon cancer we spent a day cleaning and cooking for cancer patients living at The Hope Lodge in Kansas City.To learn more about The Hope Lodge please visit
Episode 2: Hope After Project in Los Angeles, CA
This Hope After Project was built in memory of Frank Hernandez and was dedicated to his fiance, Patty and Frank's children. Frank was a LAPD officer and an avid outdoorsman. Above all else he loved spending time with his family in nature. In memory of him we spent the day caring for trees at The Tree Musketeers tree sanctuary. Episode 1: Hope After Project in Glendale, CA
Anyone This Hope After Project was built in memory of John C. O'Hara and was dedicated to his sister, Sheri. John loved animals, especially his two cats, Midnight and Sylvester. Episode 5: Hope After Project in San Bernadino, CA
This Hope After Project was built by a mother named Stephanie to honor her son Nick. We partnered with an organization called Youth Hope to reinvigorate a community space for homeless youth. We were also able to donate 10 skateboards in memory of Nick from our partners at Board Resuce.
Episode 6: Hope After Project in Santa Rosa, CA
This Hope After Project was built in memory of Akiko Tamaki by her daughter, Kayko. We spent the day volunteering at Safari West, a wildlife sanctuary and education center. We planted wild flowers that bring joy to many visitors and will always serve as a beautiful memorial to Akiko.
